Tianjin is one of China's leading cities of industry and one of the four Municipalities of China. The city enjoys a three dimensional transportation system, and it is convenient to reach Tianjin from most domestic cities.

By Train
Tianjin is the railway hub connecting the Northeast, North, East and South of China. It is also the closest hub to the Euro-Asia Continental Bridge. From Tianjin, you can take direct trains to Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Nanjing, Dalian, Qingdao, Jinan, Chengdu, Shenyang, Changchun, Suzhou, Fuzhou, Qinhuangdao and Beidaihe.
There are frequent daily trains between Tianjin and Beijing. Ticket prices range from 25-35 RMB, and the time of single journey is about 1 hour, 20 min. You can purchase the ticket from the ticket window in the right corner of the entrance lobby of the Tianjin Railway Station, near the platform for the express trains to Beijing.
By Plane
Tianjin has flights connecting almost all important Chinese cities, and some international destinations. The airport here is 13km from the city center. The main CAAC office is at 113 Nanjing Lu. There are shuttle buses (RMB10) between them. Beside, there are also buses to Beijing Capital Airport, cost RMB70.
By Boat
The Tianjin Port is the biggest man-made port in China and the largest international multi-function trading port in the north of China. It has regular passenger boat services to Yantai and Dalian. Boats to and from Dalian are available daily all year round. Boats between Yantai and Tianjin are available daily in the summer only. From Tianjin, you can get to Dalian, Yantai, Koba and Incheon by ferry.
By Bus
Tianjin has good connection with the rest of the country by road. It is in the middle of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan express way which makes it extremely convenient to drive to Beijing and other places in Hebei province. Through Beijing, express ways will take you to Shijiazhuang, Dalian, Zhengzhou and more destinations. Besides these Tianjin has direct buses linking Jinzhou, Harbin, Shenyang, Taiyuan, Wenzhou, etc.
