Tian Bus Station has two buses departing to Hohhot everyday, respectively at 08:30 and 12:00. The journey is about 8.5 hours. During lower season, you may consider take a flight from Tianjin to Hohhot, which is just about 450~550RMB. rom Chengdu, it is suggested that you take a flight to Hohhot, which takes about 1.5 hours only.
