| Today's Activities | Your tour guide and the driver will pick you up in your Shanghai hotel/apartment. After greetings, you will be driven to Hangzhou. It takes approximately 2.5 hours. Visit the famous Six Harmonies Pagoda and get a bird view of the Qiantang River. Then proceed to the must-see of Hangzhou – West Lake. Board a boat cruising on the picturesque lake. View a poetic scene of "flowers touching the fish and the fish kissing the flowers" at Flower Harbor. Stroll along the Hefang Old Street which is famous for its snacks. Check in your Hangzhou hotel and have a good rest. (There are several night shows in Hangzhou which win much applause, such as Sony Dynasty Show, Night of West Lake and West Lake Impression. | Today's Activities | Buffet breakfast in hotel and then proceed to Meijiawu Tea Plantation and experience profound Chinese tea culture. Get transferred to Xixi Wetland Park. It is the first and only national wetland park in China. Cruise on the watercourses and watch the scenery passes by. Besides natural wetland scenery, long history has also endowed Xixi with abundant cultural heritages. One of them is the tradition of dragon boat competition every 5th Day of the 5th month on Chinese lunar calendar. Nowadays people have less and less chance to watch dragon boat competition in China although it was ever a very important activity on Dragon Boat Festival. But Xixi people well preserve this tradition and hold dragon boat festival every year. Another thing you should not miss on Dragon Boat Festival is Tsung-Tse (Rapped Glue Rice Dumplings). You’ve got the chance to try some fresh Tsung-Tse. After day activities, you will be transferred back to your Shanghai hotel / apartment.
