A senior organizer of the 2010 World Expo today expressed appreciation for Hong Kong media's intensive coverage about the event.
Zhu Yonglei, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, said that Expo is a grand gathering for the whole world and he welcomed HK media's efforts in promoting the Expo when meeting Hu Gin-Ing, chief executive officer of Asia Television Limited.
Hu said hosting the World Expo is a pride shared by all the Chinese. The HK-based television broadcaster will make special programs presenting a preview of the event, he said.
The delegation also toured the Expo site following the meeting.
