It is called as the Oriental Hawaii due to its tropical atmosphere. The average temperature in Sanya is 25C and the warm weather remains throughout the whole winter month. Although is is in cold weather in other parts of China, you can still wear T-shirts and beachwear under the enjoyable sunshine in Sanya.

Sanya is known as as a coastal tourist city who attract visits from home and abroad, so bright sunshine, blue water, wide beaches, green vegetation and pure air are the highlights of Sanya. There are top three vacation resorts:The Asian Dragon Bay (Yalong Wan), Dadonghai and Sanya Bay, which all have its natural beauties. Besides, there is also Wuzhizhou Island with splendid natural landscape, variety of tourist facilities and entertaining events, which is like a paradise resort for travellers. Anyway, you can not miss it.
What to eat? As a coastal city, Sanya has plentiful seafood resources such as shrimps, crabs, fresh fish, trumpet shells and other exotic foods that are common dishes served in the restaurants of Sanya with a reasonable price.
If you desire to enjoy good sunshine, wide beach and abundant seafood, Sanya is a very good option. On the opposite, if you would like to feel the cold atmosphere and see the beautiful snow and ice of winter in China, northeast of China like Harbin ia a good choice.
