Lotus-Pond Park (Hehuachi Park), located in the southern part of Yangzhou suburbs, was originally given the name of Nanchi and Yanchi Park. Later, it was named the Lotus-Pond Park because lotus is widely planted there. Within the park, the Nine-Peak Hill of the Taihu Lake can be found. When Emperor Qianlong made a tour to the park, he wrote an inscription on a board for it.
Roaming around the park, fascinating scenes can be discovered everywhere. For example, the water of the lake mirrors ancient courtyards and pavilions; the spring water slowly passes by exquisite rockeries, and flowers in blossom accompany bold and straight trees.
