- Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge: In the north-west of the Yangtze River, connecting the urban areas with the Pukou District, Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge is the first of double-decked dual-use of bridge,highways and railways solely built by Chinese people. It was completed on December 29, 1968.
- Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen: It is situated at the foot of the second peak of Mount Zijin (Purple Mountain) in Nanjing, China. Construction of the tomb started in January of 1926 and was finished in spring of 1929. The architect was Lu Yanzhi, who died shortly after it was finished.
- Rain and Flower Terrace: As a cemetery for revolutionary martyrs, Rain and Flower is a famous revolutionary resort and tourism scenic area in Nanjing. The Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial stands at the top of the cemetery for martyrs, with a height of 42.3 meters. This figure indicates that the liberation of Nanjing on April 23, 1949 was won by fearless struggle and sacrifice of numerous revolutionaries.
- Memorial Hall of the Nanjing Massacre: It was completed and opened to the public on August 15, 1985, to commemorate the victims in the horrible massacre done by the Japanese invaders after they occupied Nanjing on December 13, 1937.
